SOS RULES
OASL Rules
This is a specific page for the OASL league of SOS-SOCCER-MANAGER.
Each manager coaches a soccer club from the American Soccer Network. A season is divided into sessions.
From Season 14 there will be 24 Teams contesting the Youth Division 3
Each manager submits lineup order instructions online for each session, and the commissioner ('Commish') then resolves the matches using the software which determines the scores and the effects of the sessions on each manager's club.
'''OASL''' stands for Online American Soccer League & features teams drawn from All levels of the USA Soccer Estabishment.
The OASL was formed from the original ODFL training league, which is Now a 100 % Training League for New Coaches to Learn the Ropes of sos-soccer-manager
Most of the features of the other Leagues will be used in OASL; The original Rules etc. were written by Al Sellers for the first League MSWL, Other Leagues in the SOS SOCCER family include SESL and SFLSL.

PHYSIO BOOST/ MAGIC SPONGE
-
From season 9 onwards OASL will adopt the Physio Boost rule that is used in other SOS-Soccer-Manager Leagues.
-
The Idea of using a physio is to reduce the "down time" of an injured player.
-
A 1 game session adds +4EL to a player, and “Physio Boost” will also add an additional +4EL so the recovery time is effectively halved.
-
Player must be on a -8 or worse EL rating at the start of a session before “Physio Boost” can be used.
-
So for a cost of 40k the player will get an extra EL Boost of +4 at the end of a session.
-
1 player per team per session allowed.
-
Manager must post on Blog his wish to use “Physio Boost” on 1 specified player BEFORE that weeks session kicks off.
Normal OASL CONDITIONS APPLY TO Any Specific Rules not mentioned above
The Commissioner reserves the right to amend or change any of the above rules as & if he deems it necessary.
